No, it's not a new Perl library, it's just a better browser. After spending many hours working on this site, I find that when I view it in Internet Explorer, it just doesn't look good. Microsoft has some interesting ideas when it comes to sticking to the standards. For that reason, I heartily recommend Mozilla or, better yet, the newer Firebird browser (also from Mozilla).
Both browsers maintain a fairly strict compliance with standards, and they both (of course) work well on Linux. And, best of all, this site looks better in either of them than it does in IE.
